ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) will organize a Condolence Reference in hour of late Roohi Bano, a renowned TV and film actress who passed away in Turkey on January 25.

The Condolence Reference will be held at 04:00 pm on January 30 at PNCA in Islamabad.

The 67-year-old Roohi Bano died after a prolonged illness. She was suffering from kidney failure, and had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Istanbul since January 3.

Rohi Bano delivered outstanding performances in Qila Kahani, Zard Gulab, Hairatkada, Darwaza, and Kiran Kahani etc.

Roohi Bano won the President’s Pride of Performance Award in 1981 and in 2011, she received Lifetime Achievement Award at the Lux Style Awards.
