COAS to pay day-long visit to Kabul on Thursday

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif will pay a day-long visit to Kabul on Thursday, the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa wrote on his twitter account on Wednesday.

During his visit, the COAS will call on the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai.

The army chief will also hold meetings with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah, the Defense Minister Bismillah Muhammadi, the National Security Advisor Hanif Atmar and other senior military officials during the visit.
