ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that all coalition partners are firmly standing with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government and important decisions will be taken with consensus.

Talking to media after having a meeting with the Speaker Punjab Assembly and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in Islamabad on Friday, the minister expressed the belief that all the allies will soon formally announce their decision about the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said views were also exchanged with Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and Pakistan Media Development Authority (PMDA). He said that major reservations of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi have been addressed while rest will be tackled amicably.

The minister for information said he requested Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi to mediate between the government and the media over these laws.

While answering a question, he said that we consider Aleem Khan and Jahangir Khan Tareen as part of PTI.
