CM Shehbaz Sharif awarded officials for reclaiming encroached forest lands in Punjab
Lahore, Pakistan: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has awarded officials of provincial Forest Department and Law department for their work to reclaim encroached forest lands in Punjab.
While chairing a meeting here on Sunday, he also congratulated legal team which has examined their instance of reclaiming place that is known for Forest Department in the best way.
The Chief Minister awarded legal team and other officers with appreciation certificates and cash prizes. Those who got recognition certificates include Advocate General Punjab Shakeel-ur-Rehman, Additional Advocate Generals Punjab Asma Hamid and Rana Shamshad. Likewise, he presented Range Forest Officer Lahore Saqib Bhatti and Naib Tehsildaar Ferozwala Tanveer Hussain with commendatory certificates and cash prizes. Appreciating them, Shehbaz Sharif said that legal team has sought after cases in most ideal way also officers of different departments have buckled down to achieve the goal.
It may be mentioned that Chief Minister Punjab has launched a campaign to reclaim state land that is under encroachment since ages and prolong litigations helped encroachers to even sell out state land to private people. Provincial Minister for Minerals Sher Ali Khan, Chief Secretary, Law Secretary, Secretary Forests, Secretary Prosecution and other authorities attended the meeting.
