Changan Alsvin Booking Is Closed Now!
Changan Master Motors has closed the booking of recently-launched Changan Alsvin. As per a statement released by the company, the sedan is “fully booked till June by our genuine customers.” Furthermore, Changan is not taking any new bookings with the idea of avoiding long delivery lead time.
However, it might be a marketing gimmick to increase the value of the car and customers shall see now once the units are delivered in March, how many investors would be buzzing around asking for own amount!
“Please refrain from making any payments to anyone promising an early delivery,” the company said. Changan further noted that it would reopen the booking soon.
Booking Closed on the First Day of Opening
Changan Master Motors has witnessed a wonderful response as soon as the booking for Alsvin started off. As per the details, the booking for Changan Alsvin closed the very day, it was opened for public.
Moreover, in an earlier notification, the company announced that booking for the public would be opened on January 14th.
Earlier, there was a pre-booking of 1000 customers who won the lucky draw, between January 11th and 13th.
Why Customers Are Concerned?
The customers are concerned for the sudden closure of bookings for Changan Alsvin. The question arises, were dealers taking bookings for individuals on these dates? As of yesterday, when people reached the dealership with bank drafts, several dealers simply said that they are taking no further bookings for now. Reports reveal that this happened just after a couple of hours of opening of the company’s dealerships.
Changan Alsvin CKD Unit Not Displayed
The significant aspects of Changan Alsvin‘s launch is that the company has not displayed the CKD/locally manufactured unit of the car.
According to some reports, the company imported 20 CBU units and displayed them on its dealership across the country. Furthermore, when customers asked dealers about it, they told them that it is a CKD unit, however, there was no reality in it.
The customers have not seen locally manufactured Alsvin yet, still, the company closed its booking. The move will surely be having an impact on the trust of customers for the company.
This is because they have not experienced the CKD units to check the quality of the car, they will receive. Besides, in this situation, public didn’t get a proper chance to book Changan Alsvin and that is not a positive indication.
