CPECAsim Saleem Bajwa reaches Gwadar to review projects under CPEC

The Chairman CPEC Authority Lt General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa reached Gwadar on a one-day visit.

During his visit, Lt General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa reviewed different ongoing projects under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Earlier on May 26, the Chairman CPEC visited the Challenge Textile Factory in Lahore –  established with Chinese investment of US$ 150 million- wherein he also talked to media saying that US$ 13 billion have been invested in Pakistan under the CPEC while another US$ 12 billion investment is in the pipeline.

Lt General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa said that more economic zones are being established under the CPEC which would bring more Chinese investment in Pakistan and provide all possible facilities to foreign investors.
