Monitoring Desk: Sensing threats coming from presence of terrorists near Afghan – Central Asian borders, servicemen from Central Asian republics are busy in planning and training at Chebarkul (Чебаркульском) region of Uzbekistan for theoretically countering possible attempt of Jihadis of Islamic State known as Daesh to enter Central Asian States.

Over 500 servicemen from Central Asian republics took part in instructor-methodical classes at Chebarkul training Centre for the creation of reconnaissance and strike complexes in tactical and operational units.

The officers of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the first time took part in a large-scale operational mobilization gathering of the leadership of the Central Military District, which ended in Chebarkul garrison (Chelyabinsk region).

Representatives of the central military authorities of Kyrgyzstan also attended the training camp.

The participants talked about the problems of using the combined groupings of forces in the Central Asian strategic direction based on the experience of fighting in Syria, and discussed new methods of combat training.

An official statement said that countering terrorism were discussed during meetings. In total, about 500 generals and officers of the Central Military District, regional structures of Rosgvardia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Emergencies took part in the gathering in the Southern Urals
