While many fans are still busy appreciating and exploring the goodness of the current model, the new Land Cruiser 2022 is set to arrive in the global market. Performance
Although the news is not official as of yet, Toyota is letting go of the V8 power technology. The company is most likely putting the replacement engines in the new model. As expected, Land Cruiser 2022 will come with a naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 Hybrid engine. While this may be true, we can also observe the company using a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine (non-hybrid). The truth, however, still awaits the global launch and reveal of features.
Moving to the transmission part, the new Land Cruiser may have the ECVT transmission in the hybrid version. On the other hand, the non-hybrid option may come with a 10-Speed Automatic transmission.
Exterior Details
As per the leaked pictures of the upcoming model, the flagship SUV from Toyota will have an upright front with a wide rectangular grille on the front. Rectangular headlights and vent-like trim sections around the grille provide a modern aerodynamic look to the SUV. If we look at the side, the side-view mirrors can be seen mounted to the door instead of the window glass.
The rear end displays a smart look with high-mounted and relatively sleeker taillights and a flat tailgate.
Interior Details
As of now, there is no official information leaked or revealed about the interior features. However, rumors speak that the new Land Cruiser will have a 12-13 inches infotainment system with satellite navigation. Other features may include a 7-inch digital display cluster, leather-trimmed interior finishings, and metallic switchgear.
Arrival In Pakistan
As reported, Toyota is most likely launching the Land Cruiser 2022 globally in the next month. While this may be valid, it is important to mention that Pakistan will have to wait for around 1.5 – 2 years for the local launch.
