Suzuki Wagon R discontinuation

According to reports, Suzuki Wagon R discontinuation is likely to happen in 2023. PSMC has experienced an increase in sales of Suzuki Alto 2022 due to its affordability. It resulted in lower demand for Suzuki Wagon R because of increased prices and inflation in the country. That is why Suzuki has decided to cut off the least-sold vehicles from its lineup which results in likely Suzuki Wagon R discontinuation.

Suzuki Wagon R Discontinuation

Along with Suzuki Wagon R, Suzuki Bolan is also coming to a halt in Pakistan in the coming year. PSMC has decided to stop the sale of Completely Knocked Out Wagon R because of international discontinuation. Pakistan used to import the CKD kits from Indonesia which has stopped the production of Wagon R since last year. The country was only supplying parts to Pakistan because of increased demand. The international discontinuation will cause eventual discontinuation in Pakistan.

The demand for Suzuki Wagon R has drastically fallen due to a number of reasons. Increased car and fuel prices, finance fees and a decrease in the purchasing power of customers have made Suzuki Wagon R a deal of loss. Therefore PMSC has decided to continue with Suzuki Alto and Suzuki Cultus instead of Wagon R.

Suzuki Bolan Replacement

Moreover, along with the Suzuki Wagon R discontinuation, PSMC has also planned to stop selling Suzuki Bolan in Pakistan. The decision has been made because the demand for these vehicles has fallen. As a result of the falling demand, they will discontinue in the country. As a replacement for Wagon R, customers have other options like Cultus, Alto and other competitors.

However, as a replacement for Suzuki Bolan, Pak Suzuki is going to launch Suzuki Every after restoring the work in its upcoming minivan.

This news is from some inner sources of Suzuki Motors. But, the company has not yet made any official statement regarding the matter.
