Proton is a Malaysian automobile car company that has been involved in designing, distributing, manufacturing, and selling automobiles since 1985. Since then, it has launched several successful launches, such as Proton Persona, Proton Exora, Proton X70 and X50, Proton Satria Neo, Proton Saga, and much more. Now, soon the Proton is generating its Saga Facelift and Advanced features. Eventually, the company decided to give it a new look to try to improve its market position even more. So let’s check out what changes were made in the Proton Saga facelift. 

The latest report from wapcar.com which is a Malaysian car news platform indicates that the Proton will further offer facelifted versions. For instance, with a distinct variant like the Premium S automatic. This declaration for a total of four variants including the familiar Standard Manual, Standard Auto, and Premium Auto. 

Upgrades In Proton Saga Facelift

Coming back to the Proton Saga Facelift, all the variants have the same engines as in Pakistan with a naturally-aspirated 1298cc 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 95 horsepower and 120 Nm of torque. The standard manual will have a 5-speed manual gearbox, while all other variants will have a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Price in Pakistan

The Proton Saga Facelift may see a slight increase in the price but there are no confirmed details available at this time. However, the report confirms that production has begun and Proton might introduce the new model next month. 

As far as the Pakistani market is concerned, Saga is still struggling to hold its market share due to delays in delivery times and declining demand. However, a new look could open new doors for Proton. It might bring the company to the forefront.
