Additionally, the company has announced to start the BAIC BJ40 Plus bookings pretty soon.

It is important to mention that there are practically no jeep brands in the country at the moment.
You will be able to get your very own BJ40 Plus in both, diesel as well as petrol engine options. Both the engines are 2.0L turbo engines capable of producing 218hp and 270Nm of torque. Moreover, the transmission of BJ40 Plus is 6-speed automatic.
Will BAIC Pakistan Fulfil the Promise?
As reported a couple of months back, BAIC Pakistan would start the commercial mass production of BJ40 Plus in October. While this may be valid, it seems like the company is ahead of its own shared timeline. As per the official news shared on the company’s Facebook page, the company has started commercial mass production already. This is a great gesture for the “sick and tired” consumers of Pakistan.
Delivery Time
More importantly, it is yet to be figured out if the company will be able to deliver the vehicles in a timely fashion. If BAIC Pakistan ensures on-time delivery of vehicles, this can be a huge plus at the moment.

As reported, BAIC Pakistan has plans to launch more vehicles in the local market. The list includes one off-roader SUV, one crossover, and one hatchback. We can foresee tough competition among the new entrants in the auto market in the near future.
