Javed Afridi comes forward with yet another surprise. After the news of MG cars being tested locally, Javed Afridi has taken a giant step with the Forland buses launched in Pakistan. These buses are launched under the brand name JW Forland, a joint venture between Pakistan’s JW SEZ Group and China’s Foton Motor Company. For those who are unfamiliar, Forland is Foton’s core business division of trucks and special purpose vehicles. Let’s get into the further details of the launch below!

JW Forland Details

The owner of JW SEZ Group, Javed Afridi is back with another important venture for Pakistan’s consumers. The joint venture between JW and Foton has set the basis of JW Forland. Here, it is worth mentioning that the company is in operation since 2018. However, the vehicle lineup mostly consists of cargo trucks.

Now, it’s finally the time that JW Forland is ready to start Forland buses across Pakistan. The company has brought 50 Forland luxury buses to Pakistan. 20 of these buses are already delivered to Faisal Movers.

Luxury Buses

Forland Buses launched in Pakistan

The JW Forland buses are luxury buses with premium interior design and quality. Moreover, they are highly equipped with the latest technology to meet the standards of global competition.

If we talk about the cabins, space and comfort are exceptional. Although many premium category buses are already operating under different transporters across the country, Forland buses beat all the standards in the race.

Are Daewoo and Hino In Trouble?

With the launch and delivery of the new luxury buses, companies like Daewoo and Hino will have to raise their standards a great deal. While this may be true, it is important to remember that this is just the first step towards bringing high-end buses to Pakistan. As soon as more competitors step into the market, we may find Daewoo and Hino in a pickle.
