The much speculated arrival of DFSK 500 and Seres 3 test units has finally happened. The two cars have reached the Karachi port. It is worth mentioning that the company has made progress in setting the foot in local market with Glory 580. The arrival of test units for the two new cars is a step forward in the company’s effort to bring more vehicles. The popularity of subcompact SUVs has immensely increased in the past couple of years. New entrants are keenly focusing on SUVs locally. Let’s have a look at some key highlights of DFSK Glory 500 and Seres 3 to fidure out what’s coming next.

New Additions to B-Segment SUVs

DFSK Glory 500

This new addition is a B-segment subcompact crossover SUV. The Glory 500 is expected to arrive with an aspirated 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine. The engine is capable of producing 118hp and 147 Nm of torque. If we talk about the transmission details, the subcompact SUV comes with a CVT automatic gearbox.

Other features include voice command, automatic headlights, brake hold assist, electronic parking brake, 7-inch floating touchscreen, multi-function steering, dual airbags, ABS, EBD, panoramic sunroof, and vehicle reverse assist.

The expected price of DFSK Glory 500 in Pakistan is PKR 3.3 million – PKR 3.7 million.

Seres 3

Keeping in view the encouraging policies for EVs in Pakistan, the Seres 3 will be an optimum addition. The subcompact SUV is an all-electric crossover SUV with a similar design to DFSK Glory 500. This EV crossover will directly compete with the much-hyped MG ZS EV.

DFSK Glory 500 and Seres 3 Arrived in Pakistan

The car features electric motor mounted on the front axle and powered by a 52kWh battery pack. The motor is capable of producing 160hp and 300 Nm torque. If we talk about the range, the Seres 3 can cover 230 km – 405 km.

The safety and smart features in Seres 3 are quite similar to as found in Glory 500. While this may be valid, the additional features include lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and autonomous emergency braking.

DFSK Glory 500 and Seres 3 Arrived in Pakistan

The expected price of Seres 3 EV crossover in Pakistan is PKR 5.7 million to PKR 6.3 million.

The arrival of DFSK Glory 500 and Seres 3 test units is indeed an exciting news for the DFSK fans.
