The company recently posted a photo on social media with a caption, “That was a good move but not extraordinary” It further added, “Good things come to those.” This post aimed to target a specific company without naming it. But, we can identify that the pun was meant for Changan Oshan X7 which has recently launched in Pakistan. Chery Tiggo 8 launch in Pakistan will probably occur in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2022. So, we have to wait a bit more.
Chery Tiggo 8 Launch Details
Tiggo 8 is a 7-seater SUV. GNL hosted an event in 2021 in which it revealed Chery Tiggo 4 and Chery Tiggo 8. It also proclaimed that both of these models will soon be available in Pakistan. It will come as competition for KIA Sorento and Changan Oshan X7. GNL has not confirmed the official release date but it will come soon.
Engine
Chery Tiggo 8 will have a 1.6-liters4-cylinder turbocharged engine. The engine could produce 195 horsepower (hp) and 290 Newton-meters (Nm) of Torque. The Tiggo 8 will be a front-wheel-drive with 7- speed DCT automatic gearbox. We have anticipated about only one variant so far while there are other variants offered internationally.
