Changan Alsvin Price in Pakistan Revealed
Pakistan’s auto industry is revealing exciting news one after the other. Although this year was tough globally, international carmakers used the time well. This time, we bring you the happy news of Changan – a Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer – launching a stylish sedan in Pakistan. The new Changan Alsvin Sedan is set to unroll in the local auto market.
Changan Pakistan has just revealed the official pricing of Alsvin in Pakistan starting from 2.3 Million while the higher-end model will cost around 2.6 million.
Changan is a Chinese automobile brand headquartered in Chongqing, China. As reported, the company is joining hands with the Master group in Pakistan to launch its state-of-the-art 1400cc sedan in the country.
Master group established a $100 million auto manufacturing plant in Karachi. As believed, the plant has the capacity to produce approximately 30,000 units annually.
Changan Alsvin Sedan – The Cheapest 1400cc Sedan Car in Pakistan
That is right! Changan Alsvin sedan is the first state-of-the-art sedan in the country with the cheapest price tag. Alsvin comes in two categories based on engine variation. We can expect to find a 1.5L as well as a 1.4L option in the new sedan.
This economical car is most likely going to hit the traditional market of Toyota, Honda, and Suzuki. However, it is a bit early to say if the cheapest sedan will also be the most popular choice.
As many of us already know, the recent years have been highly fruitful for Pakistan as more and more international automakers stepped into the country. The local public is showing a great deal of interest in choosing new brands. However, it is important to mention that this shift in consumer choice is independent of brand preferences. In other words, we can not say that the famous Japanese carmakers like Toyota, Honda, or Suzuki are losing their game.
The openness of the public to try out new brands is a positive gesture. We have observed companies including KIA and Hyundai making their place in Pakistan. The famous British auto brand Morris Garages is also launching the MG HS SUV locally. It is needless to say that the competition in the local auto market is getting tougher with the passage of time.
To find out what the new Changan Alsvin sedan has to offer, let’s take a look at the highlighted features.
Changan Alsvin Sedan Features
Exterior
Starting from the exterior, the new Alsvin reflects a fine exterior design to cherish. The outer look is similar to the Toyota Yaris. The front end houses attractive daylight running lamps (DRLs) with halogen projector headlights.
The front grille is expected to have a classy chrome presence but it may be offered in the higher-end variant. There may be bad news for the fans as the new sedan may not have fog lamps. However, we may be surprised as soon as the vehicle launches in the local market.
The wheel section of the Changan Alsvin sedan will feature alloy rims with a wheel size of 14-inches.
Interior
Compared to the cost factor, Changan has offered a highly impressive interior. The interior highlights include round vents on both sides of the dashboard and long vents in the middle area.
The driving cluster features a multi-function steering that we have also observed in the competitor cars. We can find a speedometer display unit along with a digital space to display important technical information. The standard features cover power windows, power-operated mirrors, Bluetooth infotainment system, and 2-4 audio speakers (based on the choice of variant). The additional features include USB ports and a 12 V power supply option.
The overall look and feel of the interior are highly comfortable and premium.

The local auto experts are foreseeing this car as an upcoming competitor in Pakistan. The obvious competitors include Toyota Yaris, Suzuki Ciaz, and Honda City. All of these cars come with a relatively higher price tag as compared to the Changan sedan.
Availability Status
Changan is hinting at glimpses of the Alsvin launch in Pakistan through social media forums. According to the company’s plan, the Alsvin sedan will launch in Pakistan by the mid of December this year. However, we cannot say if the launch delays due to the local COVID situation.
The gesture of Changan along with other global automakers coming to Pakistan is highly admirable. With more quality vehicles launching in the local cities, the auto companies around the globe are continuing to show interest in bringing their units to Pakistan. Changan, being a Chinese brand, is highly passionate to deliver an economical but competitive sedan in the local market and raise the bars for other brands.
