11 killed in car bomb blasts in Baghdad: officials

BAGHDAD: At least 11 people were killed and 32 others were injured in two car bomb blasts near a football field in the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Thursday, Iraqi security and medical officials said.

One car bomb went off near the football field in the the southern Shuala area of Baghdad, followed by a second after security forces arrived at the scene, an interior ministry official said.
