Islamabad, Pakistan: Uzbekistan-Pakistan Business Council will part of Pakistani delegation for the session of Intergovernmental Commission in Tashkent.

This was decided during a meeting which held at the Residence of Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Furqat Sidiqov with the Federal Minister of Pakistan for National Food Security and Research Sahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan.

Acceding to a press statement issued by Center for Global & Strategic Studies of Pakistan (CGSS), a working dinner was organized with Embassy of Uzbekistan in closely collaboration with CGSS and where perspectives of development of Uzbekistan-Pakistan relations in the fields of agriculture, food security, trade and scientific partnership were discussed.

Press release said that primary attention was given to the organizational matters of the next session of Uzbek-Pak Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economical and Scientific-Technical Cooperation. It was agreed that this upcoming session will be held in Tashkent till the end of this year.

Moreover, parties supported the idea of adding members of Uzbekistan-Pakistan Business Council to the composition of Pakistani delegation for the session of Intergovernmental Commission in Tashkent.

CGSS is working closely with Uzbekistan embassy to enhance trade between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
