ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood has said that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish Border Markets along the border was signed between Pakistan and Iran in April 2021.
In a statement on Tuesday, the adviser said that three Border Markets are now being established at Gabd, Mund, and Chedgi areas in Balochistan near Pakistan’s border with Iran.
Abdul Razak Dawood said that these Border Markets will not only enhance Pakistan-Iran bilateral trade but it would also provide economic opportunities and sustenance to people residing in the border areas.
