RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) would hold a three-day Rawal Industrial and Business exhibition here at Ayub National Park from May 13.

According to a statement of the RCCI issued here said that in this connection an exhibition conference was held here in which representatives of industrial and business sectors, members of Chambers of Commerce and Industry attended the conference.

President of RCCI Mian Hammayun Pervez, Vice Presidents Saqib Rafiq, Muhammad Aqil Obaid and former president Najam Rehan and Chairman of Fairs and Exhibition of the Chamber Abdul Rauf Chaudhry and executives members of RCCI also attended the conference.

In his address of welcome President RCCI Mian Hammayun Pervez informed the participants of the conference that the exhibition would be held from May 13-15 here at Ayub Park in which products like industrial goods, garments, leather products, furniture items would be put on display for the visitors.

Besides, he said food courts for families and children, cultural shows and other recreational facilities would be available for the visitors and their families.

Mian Humayyum Pervez expressed the hope that this exhibition would help promote economic activities and also provide recreational facilities to the people.

He added that women entrepreneurs would be given special incentives for the setting up of their stalls and display centers in the exhibition area.  He said that similar exhibitions would also be held in other parts of the country.

Hamayyun Prevez demanded of the government that an expo center should be established in Rawalpindi for the promotion of business activities in the city.
