- Total reserves: $14.47 billion, up $80.2 million

- Commercial Banks reserves: $5.31 billion, up by $29.1 million
KARACHI, Pakistan: The Country’s total foreign reserves reached US$ 14.47 billion by August 02, 2024, showing an increase of US$ 80.2 million in a week.
The latest statistics released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) showed that that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country as of August 02, 2024 were US$ 14,471.9 million.

Commercial banks: $5.32bn (+$29.1m or +0.55%)

The statistics showed that the Central Bank’s own reserves also jumped by US$ 51.1 million to reach US$ 9.15 billion.
The reserves held by the SBP stood at US$ 9,153.3 million in the week ended on August 02 whereas previously they were US$ 9,102.2 million.
Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US$ 5,318.6 million, witnessing an increase of US$ 29.1 million.
