- Total reserves: $14.39 billion, up $56.3 million

- Commercial Banks reserves: $5.29 billion, down by $18.7 million
KARACHI, Pakistan: The Country’s total foreign reserves witnessed an increase of US$ 56.3 million and thus rose to almost US$ 14.4 billion by July 26, 2024.
According to the latest statistics released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country as of July 26, 2024 were US$ 14,391.7 million.

Commercial banks: $5.29bn (-$18.7m or -0.35%)

The statistics showed that the Central Bank’s own reserves also jumped by US$ 75 million to reach US$ 9.10 billion.
The reserves held by the SBP stood at US$ 9,102.2 million in the week ended on July 26 whereas previously they were US$ 9,027.2 million.
Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US$ 5,289.5 million, showing a decrease of US$ 18.7 million.
