KARACHI, Pakistan: The Country’s total liquid foreign reserves jumped to US$ 12.86 billion with an increase of US$ 787 million by December 22, 2023.

The latest data shared by the State Bank of Pakistan showed that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country as of December 22, 2023 were US$ 12,855.7 million.

Likewise, the Central Bank’s foreign reserves also rose by US$ 852 million and stood at US$ 7.7 billion in the week ended on December 22.

The reserves held by the Central Bank stood at US$ 7,757.1 million by Thursday last whereas previously they were US$ 6,904.8 million.

Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US5,098.6 million as of December 22, registering a decrease of US$ 65 million.Pakistan’s foreign reserves rise by $787 million
