  • Commercial Banks reserves: $5.1 billion, down by $46.8 million

KARACHI, Pakistan: The Country’s total liquid foreign reserves US$ 13.34 billion as of January 19, 2024 with an increase of US$ 196.3 million.

The latest data shared by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) showed that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country as of January 19, 2024 were US$ 13,341.4 million.

The statistics showed that the Central Bank’s foreign reserves stood at US$ 8.3 billion, registering an increase of US$ 243.1 million.

The reserves held by the Central Bank stood at US$ 8,270.5 million in the week ended on January 19 whereas previously they were US$ 8,027.4 million.

Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US$ 5,070.9 million, showing a decrease of US$ 46.8 million.Pakistan’s foreign reserves reach $13.34 billion
