KARACHI, Pakistan: The Country’s total liquid foreign reserves plunged to US$ 13.26 billion as of January 26, 2024 after a decrease of US$ 78.9 million.

The latest data shared by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) showed that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country as of January 26, 2024 were US$ 13,262.5 million.

The statistics showed that the Central Bank’s foreign reserves stood at US$ 8.21 billion, registering a decrease of US$ 54 million.

The reserves held by the Central Bank stood at US$ 8,216.5 million in the week ended on January 26 whereas previously they were US$ 8,270.5 million.

Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US$ 5,046.0 million, showing a decrease of US$ 24.9 million.Pakistan’s foreign reserves fall to $13.26 billion
