ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan’s exports in February 2022 have increased by 36% to US$ 2.808 billion as compared to US$ 2.068 billion in February 2021, according to the provisional (pre-PBS) data.

Sharing the data on Twitter on Wednesday, the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Commerce & Investment Abdul Razak Dawood said that Pakistan’s export increased at the rate of US$ 100 million per day which is the fastest for any month.

The advisor said that for July-February 2022, Pakistan’s exports increased by 26% to US$ 20.552 billion as compared to US$ 16.324 billion during July-February 2021.

The import data will be shared shortly after it is confirmed by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), he said.
