ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan’s exports for March 2022 grew by 17.3% to US$ 2.773 billion as compared to US$ 2.365 billion in March 2021, the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Commerce, Textile, Industry and Production, and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood said.
Sharing the figure on Twitter on Friday, the adviser said that for July-March 2022, Pakistan’s exports grew by 25% to US$ 23.332 billion as compared to US$ 18.688 billion in July-March 2021, which is an increase US$ 4.644 billion.
The adviser said that Pakistan’s exports are in line with our targets & we expect to achieve our yearly target.
Abdul Razak Dawood said that the import figures would be shared when finalised by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
“We would like to congratulate our exporters for maintaining the momentum of exports under these testing times in the global market, he said.
