DUBAI: Pakistan Pavilion received 55,000 visitors in just the Opening Week of Expo 2020 Dubai, the Prime Minister’s Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood said.

In a statement on Thursday, the adviser said that the response we received was overwhelming and the number of visitors at the Pakistan pavilion we had in the first week was beyond expectations.

The adviser said that Pakistan is a wonderful Country that has largely been misrepresented. However, Expo 2020, we are here to show the real Pakistan to the world.

“I want to thank all the visitors for coming to the Pakistan Pavilion & exhibiting their interest in our culture, and appreciating the richness and diversity it holds,” he said.

Abdul Razak Dawood said that Pakistan is a Country of great opportunity for tourism and investment.

“Also, I would like to thank our artists as their creativity and skills are the sole reasons we showcased the real Pakistan to a broader audience,” the advisor added.

President Dr. Arif Alvi inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020 on October 9.

Pakistan Pavilion in the Expo 2020 is located at one of the prime areas of the Expo site and is considered the largest Pavilion of Pakistan outside the Country.

The Pavilion, with the theme “Hidden Treasure”, showcases the unexplored and undiscovered riches of Pakistan.
