ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended the federal government to increase the prices of all petroleum products up to Rs 3.10 per litre for January 2020.
In this regard, the OGRA has sent a Summary to the Petroleum Division for the approval.
In its Summary, the OGRA has recommended to increase the price of petrol by Rs 2.61 per litre, kerosene oil by Rs 3.10 per litre, light diesel oil (LDO) by Rs 2.08 per litre, and high speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 2.25 per litre.
If approved, the new prices of the petroleum products from January 1, 2020 will be as, petrol will be available for Rs 116.60 per litre, kerosene oil for Rs 99.45 per litre, LDO for Rs 84.51 per litre, and HSD for Rs 127.26 per litre.
Earlier for December 2019, the petrol price remained Rs 113.99 per litre, Kerosene price Rs 96.35 per liter, light diesel oil price Rs 82.43 per litre, and high speed diesel price Rs 125.01 per liter.
