No new tax to be levied in KPK budget 2014-15: Khattak

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will impose no new tax in the provincial financial budget for 2014-15 to be presented in the assembly this month, the Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said in an interview.

The chief minister further said that the provincial government is pursuing a comprehensive plan for development of the province.

Khattak said that a number of mega development projects including mass transit programme in Peshawar and generation of 300 megawatt electricity from gas resources have been launched.
