LAHORE, Pakistan: The Managing Director Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) Jameel Ahmad Jameel along with the Cluster Development Initiative (CDI) team visited the Bata Pakistan Limited (Shoe Company) in Batapur, Lahore on Friday.
During his visit, Jameel Ahmad Jameel met the Chairman Pakistan Footwear Manufacturers Association (PFMA) & the Managing Director Bata Muhammad Imran Malik.
In the meeting, they dwelt at length on the current scenario for the footwear industry and also exchanged views on the ongoing and future interventions for uplift of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
A productive discussion was also held for facilitating and integrating the industry with academia.
The visiting delegation was given a tour of the Bata Factory.
The Chairman PFMA Imran Malik appreciated the efforts of the Punjab Small Industries Corporation.
