ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Miftah Ismail held a meeting with delegation of Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajaran Pakistan headed by its President Muhammad Kashif Chaudhary at Finance Division in Islamabad on Monday.

The delegation comprised of Mr. Sharjeel Mir, Mr. Zia Ahmed Raja, and Mr. Tahir Taj Bhatti.

President Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajaran Pakistan apprised the finance minister about the issues being faced by the business community especially related to taxation on electricity bill.

The delegation requested the finance minister to resolve their issues as this community plays a significantly positive role in the economic development of the country.

Finance Minister Mr. Miftah Ismail acknowledged the contribution of business community in the economic development of Pakistan and assured them that present government will take every required step to facilitate and support this community.

The finance minister addressed their apprehensions regarding taxation on electricity bill and assured them to resolve their issue.

The delegation thanked the Finance Minister Miftah Ismail for cooperation and addressing their concerns positively.
