ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Islamabad Market Committee on Wednesday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits.

According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under:

Potato per kilogram is Rs 26, Onion Rs 25, Tomato 22, Ginger Rs 94, Garlic Rs 136, Garlic (China) Rs 152, Lemon Rs 180, Lady Finger Rs 40, Pumpkin Rs 44, Brinjal Rs 45, Peas Rs 105, Farsh Bean Rs 75/60, Tanda Walaiti Rs 65/60, Cucumber Rs 32, Capsicum Rs 65/45, Green Chilli Rs 50, Cauliflower Rs 68, Cabbage Rs 24, Bitter gourd Rs 38/30, Spinach Rs 22, Raddish Rs 24/20, Turnip Rs 40, Maroo Rs 36, Yam Rs 95/75, Carrot Rs 36, Chicken Rs 170 and Egg per dozen Rs 67.

Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 158/136, Apple White Rs 92/74, Banana Pak Rs 120/80, Banana Ind Rs 162/145, Pear China Rs 155/80, Apricot Rs 102/70, Apple Irani Rs 158/136, Apple China Rs 185/160, Watermelon Rs 22/18, Mango Sundari Rs 115/84 and Mango Almas Rs 70/55.

The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
