ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Gilgit-Baltistan government will organize an Exhibition on Gilgit-Baltistan Gemstone and Minerals Sector at The Centaurus in Islamabad on Thursday.

The exhibition will present minerals and gemstone pioneers of Gilgit-Baltistan.

The Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Muhammad Khalid Khurshid Khan’s Special Assistant on Mining Muhammad Ilyas Siddiqui said that the Gilgit-Baltistan region is enriched with minerals and it contains various types of minerals and gems.

Ilyas Siddiqui said that the Gilgit-Baltistan region has a conducive and friendly environment for investors, adding that its people are known for hospitality and kindness for tourists and investors.

The Special Assistant said that the region has zero crime rate; therefore, the investors are ensured a risk-free environment and the concerned departments extend all-out support to them.

The Special Assistant invited all the people willing to invest in the minerals sector to arrive in Gilgit-Baltistan and take benefit of the opportunities offered by the government.
