ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A total of 7,560 petrol pumps are presently working in the country to facilitate consumers, said an official of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources on Wednesday.
Talking to the state-run news agency in Islamabad, he said that the government encourages establishment of new petrol pumps due to increasing demand of oil products.
The oil consumption has recorded increase due to persistent decrease in prices.
Replying to a question, he said that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had so far issued marketing licence to 3,586 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations across the country.
