Bugti murder case: ATC issues arrest warrants of Musharraf’s guarantor

QUETTA: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Quetta hearing a case related to the murder of Balochistan nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti on Monday issued arrest warrants of guarantor of the former President Pervez Musharraf, the main accused in the case.

The ATC Judge Tariq Anwar Kasi, who was hearing the Akbar Bugti murder case in Quetta, issued arrest warrants of Musharraf’s guarantor after the former president failed to appear before the court.

Moreover, the court accepted the bail applications of former interior minister Aftab Sherpao and former provincial home minister Shoaib Naushervani.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till April 7.
