WhatsApp Message Delete Feature

WhatsApp has the feature of deleting messages for everyone. So, if you mistakenly sent a message and want to correct your mistake, you can do it by deleting the message for everyone. But WhatsApp message delete feature is only available for a time frame of 1 hour. You could only delete messages within the time frame of 1 hour. Sometimes, this time limit is too less and users have complained about increasing the time limit.

Now WhatsApp has planned to launch this feature of extending the time limit for Whatsapp message delete. A screenshot from the reports of WABetaInfo claims that the messages will be deletable from two months ago. The exact limit of message delete is not revealed but, it will surely be more than 2 months. The users can also get this feature without a time limit. Just like Instagram has no time limit for deleting messages, WhatsApp is also offering this feature to the users.

Release

The feature will become available to the beta users before getting released to the public. It is possible WhatsApp is planning to remove any time limit on its message delete. But, we have to wait a bit longer so that the feature can become available to the public.

It is also unsure that whether the update will give the opportunity of deleting messages sent before the update, or only the messages sent after the update will be deleted. To clarify all these queries, we need to wait to see what will occur in the update.
