Wateen Telecom Joins Hands With Punjab Group of Colleges

In this digitized world, there is an immense need for the internet. Especially in the education sector, the internet helps students in researching and getting knowledge through online websites, video lectures, and other sources. A national-level Information and Communication Technology(ICT) Company, Wateen Telecom partners with PGC (Punjab Group of Colleges) to give Managed SD-WAN connectivity.

Hajra Afzal, PGC Group Director IT, and CEO of Wateen Telecom Adil Rashid approved the project in Lahore at Wateen Telecom’s head office. Top administrators of both the companies were also present on the occasion.

Wateen Telecom partners with PGC

Through this affiliation, Wateen Telecom will provide managed SD-WAN connectivity services. It will be based on the Punjab group of Colleges optical fiber to their colleges and universities all over the country. This service will facilitate all campuses of PGC with Wi-Fi 6 technology to establish a rapid, more valid communication experience for their students and faculty. 

Objectives of this Project

Hajra Afzal confessed that “We are pleased to be extending our longstanding relationship with Wateen Telecom as we move ahead with yet another milestone. We are excited about the implementation of Wateen’s SD-WAN connectivity service. This will function as a stepping stone for greater progress. It will create a positive impact in enhancing PGC’s capacity for years to come”.

This partnership is set to play a transformational role to significantly enhance PGC’s connectivity and infrastructure for Pakistan’s future leaders. This is one of the inspiring good news for Pakistani students. Now, they can avail benefits of the internet in their institution premises. So, the availability of notes, important documents, and other study material will always be available. People work online, they can communicate with each other as well.
