Detail of Official Timings of functioning of the Utility Stores across Pakistan is as under:

Super Markets09:00 am to 08:00 pm (PST)
Mini Market09:00 am to 07:00 pm (PST)
Convenience Stores

Rural: 0800 am to 06:00 pm (PST)

Urban: 0900 am to 07:00 pm (PST)

Mechanism for Checks & Balance of the Utility Stores

The USC has its own independent Vigilance Department. The vigilance teams are based at each Regional and Zonal Offices who carry out surveillance and vigilance in the field.

The USC vigilance consists of two components including Online Monitoring based at the USC Head Office (Through newly Deployed ERP System) and Field visits of the Vigilance Teams constituted by the USC Head Office

In order to ensure transparency and better control, vigilance teams carry out physical inspection at all Utility Stores/Warehouses throughout Pakistan. For the same purpose, nine Incharge Vigilance Officer at each Zone and 55 Assistant Vigilance Officer for one/two Region have been posted in field.

The Head Office Vigilance Section submit all the reports received from Zonal/Regional Teams to Competent Authority for necessary action as deem fit.
