The Government of Pakistan, for the benefit of the countrymen, has launched the National Bank of Pakistan’s Apna Rozgar Karobar Loan Scheme 2020. The scheme is for those aged between 18 to 45 years, so they can run the business of their own. This loan has been announced in lieu of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s efforts to help people run their businesses and become self-sustainable.
It is also known as NBP Rickshaw Scheme, because of the various mobile transports being provided to facilitate the jobless and low-income people to run their business.
Apna Rozgar Karobar Loan Scheme 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Some things must be kept in mind while applying for the loan. If the applicant does not match the criteria, he or she would not be considered eligible for the loan. Following are the mandatory clauses for the loan scheme:
- The maximum amount that will be loaned to any individual will be 200,000 PKR
- The loan repayment will begin three months after the provision, so the candidate can earn some amount to start the repayment plan
- The tenure for the loan will range from 1 to 5 years
- The age limit for both male and female to receive this loan is between 18 to 45 years
Loan Scheme 2020 Packages
The scheme has multiple programs catering to different individuals and packages. There are a total of 7 products that can be availed via a loan through the Apna Karobar Loan Scheme 2020. These are the following packages alongside the deliverable, the down payment, and the monthly installment:
NBP Chalti Phirti Dukaan – In this package, you get a mobile general store to earn and sustain your home. The down payment for this loan package is 7000 whereas the monthly payment will be 1584 Rs.
NBP Sehal Suwari (1) – This package also offers you transport like a Rickshaw (CNG or LPG). The down payment will be Rs. 14,350 whereas the monthly installment will be Rs. 3248.
NBP Sehal Suwari (2) – This is another package for transport but this one will cost a little less and is priced at the down payment of Rs. 12,900. The monthly installment for this package will be Rs. 2919.
NBP Rabta Dunya Se (1) – This is a unique package for those who want to start a PCO Business. The down payment for this package is only Rs. 300 whereas the monthly plan is also meager Rs. 311.
NBP Rabta Dunya Se (2) – Another package that promotes connectivity, this one is for those who wish to run a Tele Center. The down payment will be Rs. 2475 whereas the monthly payment will be Rs. 1584.
NBP Maal Uthao Paise Kumao – This package is for those who wish to join the transport industry. You will have to give a down payment of Rs. 6000 with the monthly payment requirement of Rs. 1539.
NBP Susti Sawari – Finally, this one is also a transport loan scheme with Rs. 7000 as a down payment and Rs. 1584 as monthly installment.
The above-mentioned packages will allow the recipients to finance either two or three-wheeled four-stroke vehicles. They will be allowed to choose from the variation of either CNG or LPG fuel.
Interest Rate & Installment Plan
The Apna Karobar Loan Scheme 2020 has an easy interest rate and installment plan. The loan has been announced for the ease of unemployed and youth, so the installments have been designed in such a way that they can be easily paid by the recipients.
Only 6% markup will be paid by the loan holder while the rest will be paid by the government itself. The installment plan is spread over 5 years, so the repayment won’t be an issue once the recipient starts earning and working with the vehicle they have received. The amount can also be paid in full or in advance if the receiver wants to.
