Urwa Hocane is a Pakistani media personality, model, and actress. She is well known for her performance in romantic comedy film Na Maloom Afraad. Recently, due to heavy rains, Karachi has become a mess and the people are suffering as the rains have sunk almost all of the city.
For all of this, the people were criticizing the government and their performance but in a reply to all the criticism, the actress Urwa Hocane tweeted that, “No doubt the government didn’t care about the city but did we! time to stop complaining & do something on our own & fix at least our own colony issues in Karachi! We can’t even stop throwing the garbage everywhere we like. The government doesn’t have a magic wand!”

She further added that, “It’s the people who have to work hand in hand with the gov! How many of you can come up with a solution. Why don’t we start somewhere. Sab kuch government ka kaam nahi hota. Khud bhi kuch sochein, haath pey haath rakh k baithnay k ilawa!”

The Actor Yasir Hussain also wrote in this regard that basically Karachi is sinking, and people are just throwing the responsibilities at each other or criticizing the government. Another actor Muneeb Butt also tweeted that, “Halaat aisey hi rahey tu Khi army k nae Navy k hawaley karna parjayega!”.

Wasim Akram’s wife Shanira Akram tweeted that, “Can’t believe the footage coming out of Karachi. Bypass’ filled with water, ship containers & cars floating down highways, back yards become pools & street turned into rivers: The city that has no water is now under water.
