The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has launched a new service, enabling enterprises to issue a Temporary Work Visa whereas holders can work for three months from entry date and can be extended to a similar period.

The Temporary Work Visa is issued immediately through the Qiwa platform – launched by the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development for all labor sector services in the Kingdom – and does not require any documents.How to Obtain Saudi Temporary Work Visa

How can I request Temporary Work Visa?

The request must be submitted by the business owner or a commissioner on Qiwa business.

  • Log in to the enterprise’s account
  • Choose temporary work visa service from e-services
  • Click on submit temporary work visa request
  • Fill all the fields
  • Submit the request for temporary work visa

What are the service regulations?

  • The enterprise must be active
  • A valid commercial registration except for the activities that do not require commercial registration.
  • The enterprise Nitaqat must be at least in a medium green level
  • Enterprises under the same unified number must not have any expired work permit
  • Having sufficient credit in the national unified number of the enterprise on Absher, on online platform that provides various e-services to residents and businesses in Saudi Arabia.

However, a visa request can be rejected in case of insufficient balance in the unified number of the enterprise on Absher account and a rejection from the Ministry of Interior.
