Under the Chief Minister’s Youth Initiate, the Punjab government, in collaboration with the Bank of Punjab, will provide 20,000 motorbikes to students across the province in a bid to facilitate them with easier transportation options.

More than 800,000 students across the Punjab province will receive 19,000 petrol bikes and 1,000 electric bikes in easy installments of two years.

Out of a total of 20,000 motorbikes, 11,675 petrol bikes will be given to male students while 7,324 have been allocated for female students.How to apply for Interest Free Punjab Bike Scheme For Students?

In the first phase, 700 male students and 300 female students studying in Graduate Colleges and Universities located in five Cities including Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, and Lahore will be provided electric bikes.

Monthly Installment

To ensure maximum relief for students, the monthly installment for electric bikes has been set at Rs 10,000 while petrol bikes will have an installment of Rs 5,000 with a downpayment of Rs 20,000.

Last Date to Apply for Punjab Bike Scheme

The last date to apply online for the scheme through the Portal http://bikes.punjab.gov.pk is April 29, 2024.

Who is eligible for the bikes scheme?

The applicant must be a;

  • Student with more than 18 years of age
  • Regular Students of any Government or Private College/University duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • Possess a driving license or learner’s permit
  • In case of receipt of applications in excess of allocated quotas, e-balloting shall be conducted.
