Google has called out for applicants for its Generation Google Scholarships for Women in Computer Science program from Asia Pacific region. Female students from Asia Pacific region, including Pakistan qualifying the eligibility criteria can apply for the program. Successful applicants will receive $1,000 for the academic year 2022-2023.

Eligibility Criteria
Following are the the musts in order to apply for the scholarship:-
- Applicant should be currently enrolled Ina Bachelor’s degree of session 2021-2022 as a full time student.
- Applicants should be in their 2nd year at a recognized university in Asia Pacific region while having the scholarship program.
- Applicants should be studying in technical fields like computer science, computer engineering and any other closely related field.
- The academic record of applicants should be strong.
- Applicants should have the passion and confidence to take the diminished groups to a successful level .
How To Apply?
Procedure of submitting applications will be entirely online for applicants. Applicants will have to submit their applications on the respective Generation Google Scholarship Portal.
The background information of applicants will be asked while filling out the application form. The information includes following: contact information, about current degree and future educational aims.
Required Documents
The applicants will have to upload their required document after filling out their profile. A list of required documents is given below:
- Applicant’s resume/CV which should have highlighted technical projects and community involvement.
- Applicant’s educational certificates from the current institution and the previous ones as well (if required).
- Applicants will have to attach their responses to 2 brief answer essay queries. The responses should be in English and must be of 400 words or less.
The two brief answer essay queries are:
- What is a significant challenge that you believe women in the tech industry face and how do you see yourself being part of the solution(s) to this challenge? Keep in mind that impact can happen in many ways and at different scales.
- What impact would receiving this scholarship have on your education? Describe any circumstances affecting your need for a scholarship and what educational goals this scholarship will enable you to accomplish.

Other Requirements
Moreover, applicants will be required to perform a;
- 15 minute “meet and greet” per shortlist participant.
- Google Online Challenge.
Google will send out the invitations of challenge to the participants in 5-7 working days after the due date of the Generation Google Scholarships for Women in Computer Science program.
Selection Criteria
The applicants with high variance, fair play, involvement, revolution and academic performance will be granted the scholarships.
