The story of this drama revolves around four friends from different family backgrounds featuring Ahad Raza Mir, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Wahaj Ali and Osman Khalid Butt in key roles, as they receive training to join the Pakistan Army. The friendship grows so rapidly and stronger that instead of focussing on their Army training, the four friends keep on taking opportunities to enjoy out of the boring training life. The twist is the story comes when the clashes rise among the four friends, so much so that they fall apart. The three friends leave army training while the one with the Army family background stays to focus.
It is not only the story of the four friends but it has an actual connection with their families and the way they struggle to support them all the way. That’s what is basically about the uniqueness of this drama in terms of the story and characters.
Among the famed cast of the drama, a prominent and familiar name for all of us is Faraz Inam aka Capt. Faraz from Alpha, Bravo, Charlie. He is the one who nostalgically hooks up the audience with the blast from the past while linking up to this new production by ISPR. Besides the lead characters, the serial features Zara Noor Abbas, Hajra Yamin, and Vaneeza Ahmad among others.
Rani (Zara Noor Abbas) gives the audience an exciting introduction, with her loud, clever, and bubbly character. Her screen presence feels more dynamic than that of Dua (Alizeh Shah), who had a simple yet significant role as a student studying MBBS who is interested in Saad, the role played by Ahad Raza Mir.
With the help of the ISPR, the sets and uniform details are realistic and detailed. The scenes transition as if an old, retired Army Officer is reminiscing about his golden days as a young man. The drama keeps a good pace, although filler episodes are anticipated, to flesh out the relationships and individual character developments.
