The application or the E-transfer system was introduced because of a large number of complaints by schoolteachers from across the province of Punjab. The name of the application is SIS (School Information System) Punjab or simply SIS Punjab, the application and also be searched by the name of developer which is Punjab IT Board. According to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Education Qazi Zahoor Ahmed, the application is developed for teachers to make the postings and transfers process fair and transparent.

How E-transfer policy for teachers works

Basically through this e-transfer app teachers would have to apply for transfer on an online system and in this regard login and password of each teacher has already been sent on their mobile numbers. Before all of this all the teachers are required to upload their data in the system, schoolteachers would now be able to upload their data until August 18.

The data can also be uploaded through an online portal, it can be reached from the following link https://sedhr.punjab.gov.pk/.

Provincial Minister of Punjab for School Education Murad Raas regarding the E-transfer system tweeted that, “We will have the data of over 350,000 teachers online for the first time in the history of School Education Department Punjab InshAllah”.

SIS Punjab application

According to the Punjab IT board School Information System App is used by Public Schools of Punjab, Pakistan, to self-report data in real-time. To use this app, all schools must first be registered with the School Education Department. The lay-out of the app is pretty simple and can only be accessed by the teachers. The application is currently only available for android users.
