Best wedding photo shoot locations in Lahore after Badshahi Mosque

BlogsBest wedding photo shoot locations in Lahore after Badshahi Mosque

Are you looking for wedding shoot locations after the current policy of Badshahi Masjid not allowing photo shoots?

Badshahi Mosque is one of the most iconic mosques in Lahore with wonderful significance in history. It is a Mughal era Masjid that has become one of the most popular places for Nikkah, wedding ceremonies and photography. However, we have bad news for all the people who wanted to have their wedding photoshoot in Badshahi Masjid.

According to the first-rate team of photographer Palwasha Minhas, Badshahi Mosque gatekeepers have banned wedding photography completely since yesterday, i.e. of December 19th.

Secretly, the photography community is happy with this decision as even when permission was granted for wedding photoshoots, only 15 minutes were given for photography. It gets troubling for the photographers to shoot in such a hurry.

However, for the about to be newlyweds this must be disappointing. But Lahore is a beautiful city, with not just historic places, but also other stunning mosques where newlyweds can shift to for their wedding photography and videography.

Sunday Times wrote on Instagram, “Badshahi Mosque has banned wedding photography. Current bookings are safe but no new bookings will be taken until further notice log on to sunday.com.pk for some beautiful alternatives.”

Some of the Twitteratis are extremely happy with this decision as they believe that Mosques are not built for extravagant wedding photoshoots.

As a Twitterati tweeted,

Badshahi mosque has banned wedding photography, at least for now.The good decision is so glad to hear this. The mosque is absolutely not built for photography wedding shoots with all those weird poses that are absolutely crazy… pic.twitter.com/h1txEJg48t

The government has banned professional wedding photography at the Badshahi Mosque. Excellent decision. No more weddings for which you have to trek to Androon Sheher because the dulha dulhan want ~elegant shots of the nikkah~.
