NOWSHERA, Pakistan: A suicide bomber targeted a security forces vehicle at Kutchehry Chowk in Nowshera on Thursday, killing at least one security personnel and injuring 14 others including civilians.

The blast took place when a suicide bomber riding a motorbike detonated his explosives near a vehicle of Frontier Corps (FC).

   

Rescue sources said that 12 of the wounded persons were rushed to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) while two were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Nowshera.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s Spokesman Shaukat Yousafzai confirmed that the suicide bomber was on a motorcycle, and also said that the bomb contained five kilograms of explosive material.
