It’s been almost three months since the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a heart-melting video song to pay tribute to the victims of December 16 Taliban attack on the Army Public School in northwestern Peshawar city.

However, the song is still the most searched song on internet as well as being called as ‘Milli Naghma’ (National Song) by the people.

The Peshawar school massacre was the deadliest terrorist attack ever to occur in Pakistan in recent history that claimed lives of nearly 150 persons including children and staff members.

The attack triggered a widespread condemnation from all over the world, and also prompted the Pakistani civilian and military leadership to take stern action to eradicate militancy from the country.

Later in January 2015, the ISPR also released a poignant musical tribute to commemorate the children killed in the Peshawar school horrific attack.

It was also an attempt to convey a message to the extremists from the children though the three-and-a-half minute long video song that terrorists cannot stop Pakistani nation to continue their quest for education and knowledge.

The main verse of the song holds a powerful message:

‘Main aisi qoum se hoon jis kay woh bachon se darta hai … Bara dushman bana phirta hai jo bachon se larta hai’

‘I am from a nation whose children frighten him… Some enemy he is, he who targets children.’
