When the Asia Cup kicked off, Pakistan had their full strength with three quality pacers fully fit to decimate the opponents. However, in the Super 4 Match against India, scenario flipped over and two of Pakistan’s fast bowlers Naseem Shah and Haris Ruaf sustained injuries. Though Haris Rauf yet remains part of the squad but Naseem Shah has been completely ruled out of the event and replaced by Zaman Khan. Shahnawaz Dahani has also joined the squad to replace Haris Rauf if required.

For the upcoming match, Pakistan have brought five changes in the playing XI. Mohammad Haris have found his place in the playing XI while Imam-ul-Haq had a back spasm; therefore, Fakhar Zaman – who had earlier been dropped – now maintains his spot in the side. Saud Shakeel is also suffering from fever and Abdullah Shafique has come in as his replacement.

Likewise, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr., and Zaman Khan have replaced Faheem Ashraf, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah respectively.
