ARY served show cause notice for airing programme against judiciary

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) issued a show cause notice to ARY for airing a programme against the judiciary and sought an explanation on an immediate basis, media reported on Friday.

   

The PEMRA has directed that programmes with objectionable content and those against the judiciary should not be broadcast.

A notice was also issued to ‘Ab Tak’ news channel for airing a controversial programme.
